Readers, Inc. is an independent, local family owned book store which opened in the quaint La Mesa Village on December 2, 2008

The store came about after years of volunteering at school book fairs.

There's an indescribable energy that comes about when helping children select their next book; their next adventure, and we love being part of that energy.

Our goals are simple:
* provide the best customer service
* provide the best selection of quality books
* provide a fun atmosphere
* keep kids reading

We are not the only book store in town, but you will find we are the most enjoyable shopping in town. Whether you need to get in and out quickly or you plan to spend the day in our walking village, we are here to please everyone who comes through our doors.

Supporting our neighbors and community is most important. We provide fundraising opportunities for schools. We support events at local schools, churches, and organizations for children.
